Environmental Choice New Zealand is an independently operated ecolabel program, and is New Zealand’s official environmental label endorsed by the New Zealand Government. ECNZ recognises the efforts of manufacturers to reduce the environmental impact of their products. Products certified by ECNZ are better for the environment and have a reduced impact on human health. ECNZ operates to internationally recognised standards and principles, and is a member if GEN, the Global Ecolabelling Network. After a comprehensive assessment, a number of Wattyl paint products have been awarded an ECNZ licence
