Wattyl is committed to global best practice, environmental performance and safe manufacturing. Wattyl has a selection of interior products that are GECA and GBCA verified for Green Star projects.

Eco Choice Aotearoa is an independently operated ecolabel program, and is New Zealand’s official environmental label endorsed by the New Zealand Government. ECA recognises the efforts of manufacturers to reduce the environmental impact of their products. Products certified by ECA are better for the environment and have a reduced impact on human health. ECA operates to internationally recognised standards and principles, and is a member if GEN, the Global Ecolabelling Network. After a comprehensive assessment, a number of Wattyl paint products have been awarded an ECA licence.

Products assessed by GBCA are recognised as meeting the NZGBC requirements for green star projects.
